When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

aka Shaw’s CH ACE A Little Grim

Grizzly came to live with us at the age of 3 ½ months. He was the sole male at cdpits Kennels. Grizzly earned his ADBA Championship in 2001 and his ACE title in 2003. He will be missed at the shows for his wild antics getting to and from the weight pull track with announcements of “clear the way, Grizz’s comin through” and being allowed to “mouth off” in the Judges Choice classes. He was the only dog to look around if someone called “loose dog” as if he understood! Grizzly was bred only once, to Lady Hawke and they produced a beautiful litter of 8 puppies. Two pups have gone on to champion and done him proud. He’s left a void in our lives that will never be filled, and is sorely missed.
Rest in Peace, Grizzy Boy…
Vixen was a well bred little girl we received
from a friend at Bullfrog Kennels.
We had her only a very short time as she was lost to us
in a kennel accident.

A lost treasure we will always hold dearly in our hearts,
sleep well sweet angel.

Rest In Peace "Tai"
1983-1997
Tai was our first APBT,
and the reason we fell in love with the breed.
He was an unregistered dog and a much cherished pet with whom
we competed in fun shows with.
We got Tai at 5 weeks of age and had him for 14 years.
He had many allergies and through him we learned about
feeding raw food (BARF) which is how we feed our dogs to the present day.
A white faced "Tai" at age 14,
looking very much the old dog!

Tai was just the
cutest puppy!!
